Dear J. C. One serious question and food for thought! You saw them very happy and dancing on the new year only. How about for the restriction of the year?
How the first day of the new year different from the last day of the old year? None! So what is there to celebrate? Perhaps to create an excuse to forget the miseries of the entire past year? After the event you went away to the river side but do you know what happened to those drunk people before the sun rose? Hundreds of those happy people drove back to their houses and died or got seriously injured due to "driving while drunk”. In USA alone about 40,000 death occur due to this!
In our culture, people get together on EIDs among families and are very happy even without drinking and dancing.

Please do not get confused. You are not in a terrible situation yet. No doubt, Pakistanis are stupid enough to make you so dejected. But there may be, may be, a hope with people like IK who may make Pakistanies happy without drinking.
You have a powerful writing ability to sway the readers with emotions.

Dear , I had been a great follower of you once you were only a columnist, sorry to say in few last year’s you have been baised in yur opinion.
I am neither with IK nor with PML but I am a simple Pakistani searching positive aspect of my nation my ppl and my country. I am a Pakistani no matter wtever happens here will continue to live, like and admire pakistan. Yes I am in search of peace and wdout getting into any philosophy I have one formula for having peace in this country , my mother land . PAKISTAN
ALL those against the country and its law and all those who wana force thier will on us, may they be of any religion, cast, sect, group , area , country should be killed and thrown out of this mother land. Stay bless and may Allah pak help you to have the wisdom and courege to use your pen in favor of the country which I and may be you still as well call Motherland, my pakistan.
