I do have a great sense of respect for you and am a follower of your writings. But I would like to disagree with some content of your article dated 14/10/2015 in relation to Hazrat Hussain bin Mansoor Hallaj (r.a). You have quoted Hazrat Ali Hajveri (r.a) saying He stayed silent whereas he clearly accepted the greatness and the authentic status of the former as a Sufi besides mentioning him as one not to be followed in action as Hazrat Mansoor was a maghlubulhaal (one lost in the love of Allah).

You are seen quoting Hazrat Iqbal (r.a) and am surprised how you miss a very famous reference to Hazrat Hussain bin Mansoor in one of Iqbals’s ghazal…
Mansoor ko hua lab-e- goya pyam e maut
An kya kisi Kay ishq Ka saws karay koi…
Please correct me if I am wrong. I didn’t have any of your contacts so am leaving a reply here.
Hope to hear from you soon.
